The fruit of the Holy Spirit to seek

Galatians 5:22-25 ASV

(22) But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

(23) meekness, self-control; against such there is no law.

(24) And they that are of Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with the passions and the lusts thereof.

(25) If we live by the Spirit, by the Spirit let us also walk.

JOY

The causes for joy in in the witnessing (testimony) of Jesus to the world are expressed in the sermon of the mount. When you read the word ‘blessed’ in the translations of Matthew chapter 5, you are reading the Greek word ‘makarios’ which means happy, a happiness which is the opposite of a ‘needy’ person, that is, a happiness that is synonymous to being rich, opulent, according to the Bailly dictionary, not lacking in anything and being hopeful for something greater to come in the brand-new world to come. The causes for happiness or blessings in Matthew chapter 5 are tokens of belonging or being currently in the Holy Kingdom of God Jesus, the kingdom which each holy believer and clone of God (Ephesians 5:1) carries inside of us, according to Jesus in Luke 7:20-21. The happiness of the beatitudes of Matthew chapter 5 does not come from riches or opulence of the earth because the clone of Jesus (Ephesians 5:1, 1 John 2:6) is expected to partake His sufferings here on earth (1 Peter 4:13).

PEACE

Hebrews 12:14 ASV

(14) Follow after peace with all men, and the sanctification without which no man shall see the Lord:

John 14:27 ASV

(27) Peace I leave with you; my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful.

John 16:33 ASV

(33) These things have I spoken unto you, that in me ye may have peace. In the world ye have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

MEEKNESS

Meekness is an attribute of Moses, of Jesus (Matthew 21:5). They were not type A personality, or a bullyish strong character that rules over others. Jesus quoted Isaiah 61:1 to say He came to bring His Evangel of repentance and forgiveness of sins to the meek and its synonyms (Numbers 12:3; Psalms 10:17; 22:26; 25:9; 34:2; 37:11; 69:32; 76:9; 147:6; 149:4; Isaiah 11:4; 29:19; 32:7; 61:1; Amos 2:7; Zephaniah 2:3; Matthew 5:5; 11:29; 21:5; 1 Peter 3:4).

Therefore, a clone of Jesus cannot be an irascible person, a fierce being or a savage.

SELF-CONTROL

Ephesians 4:26-27 ASV

(26) Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:

(27) neither give place to the devil.

James 4:7 ASV

(7) Be subject therefore unto God; but resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
